now that the fall semester is over. how are your grades doing?

i hope everyone did well! :)

for the semester, my gpa was 4.0. so far in my prereqs for the nursing program, i have a 3.7. not bad, i think! :)

Congrats Moni! I just took my last final yesterday. Got a 4.0 this semester, and my cummulative GPA is at 3.898 now. Just one semester left now! I need another semester of all A's so I can bust that 3.9 mark and graduate summa cum laude. As another poster on this board said, "A's are very addictive." I completely agree!

congrats! louise! :)

personally, i am shooting for a 4.0 in all of my nursing classes. i would love to graduate either magna or summa cum laude! :D

To all those who made 4.0's wow that is really good now can you pass the study suggestions my way. Well, After all the stressing and *itching I did this semester I did pretty decent it was not a 4.0. I got 3 B's and 1 A and 2 of those B's was so close to A's but cloe enough is not good enough. My cummulative GPA is a 3.1 right now. If It was not for that F I got in typing because I took it when I was pregnant and drop out because I was put on bed-rest but was not intelligent enough to read the college handbook they give everyone (did not think I had to for a typing class and was not seriously thinking of college at the time I took the course) when I was still at the community college My GPA could have been at least a 3.5 by now but I get better and better each semester so let's see what happens next.

This semester I am 4.0. Total GPA now is 3.87.

This is my final semester before clinicals. Don't know how difficult the clinicals will be. To be honest, I am a little scared.

Best wishes,

Hey all,

Well it's nice to see all the people who got 4.0s...interesting how no one put they had the low GPAs...please.

I've had a 4.0 through all my prereqs but now after this 1st quarter of nursing school, I think I'm gonna have a 3.4 or maybe a little higher. It's so annoying. The tests at my school are the most difficult thing on earth and it's so unfair that they make it impossible for people to graduate with 4.0s. Anyway, I'm a little upset as I read these posts from people who got 4.0s. I'm jealous and upset about it, don't take it personal.

I don't know what mine was for this semester yet. When I transferred, they started from zero. But before that, my GPA was 3.8

I don't have a 4.0 ( A 3.3) but I did make the deans list for the fall quarter. I do try hard, but I made peace with myself. I figure I can study and study for hours on end and maybe make an A. Or I can have a life and enjoy my children and other things, but study enough and make a B. It so liberating to know I don't have to be perfect. Don't get me wrong I would Love to have a 4.00. Congratulations to all those smarties that do:) Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am with you! My GPA is a 3.18 and I am proud of it!!!! I graduated from high school in 1980 and went to college in 1999.

I use to beat myself up because I was not getting A's in my classes but because when I get home from school I have a husband, four sons 17,15,13 and 6 and Cooking, cleaning, laundry. I am satisfied with my accomplishment. :p

My 4.0 broke this semester and now I have a cumulative 3.75, but thats okay.....only need a 2.5 to get into the nursing program and as others have said...it has been many years since high school so life goes on.....good luck to all

Well, I started out this semester with a 3.33. I ended up with a 3.0 for this semester, which brought my cumulative GPA down to 3.27 :o :o :o I guess I'll just have to make better grades in the spring to bring it back up!!! But with only two classes and they are each 5 credit hours, it's going to be a little tough. The clinical class, I'm not too worried about, it's the lecture that concerns me.

I got a 4.0 this semester (see post "First time for everything"). I think my cummulative before this was 3.4, so this semester should boost me up! I am not positive, so I will have to wait for my grades to be mailed to me. I have lost track of what my GPA is because my university figures it two different ways, and applies it two different ways. I have a CU GPA, and a Truman GPA. I will post when i find out for sure :)
