Hello, I just thought to start a thread, for support and information for the future nursing students from Connecticut area. As we all know, it's hard to get in to the program. so let's try to work together with new advisements, precautions, suggestions and support. Does anyone is ready to apply this coming spring? has anyone has taken the TEAS test? :nuke:
How did people hear already if Hartford has to wait until all the schools submit their paperwork? NVCC just sent their stuff a week and a half ago and its going to take time for someone to enter all the scores, no? As far as I know nothing can be done until all the candidates are ranked in the state. Then the computer can spit our names out..
i am fortunate enough to have gotten into bridgeport but that does not mean i am not still waiting to hear from norwalk. norwalk would be just a few minutes from my house and would nearly cut my tuition costs in half. however, if i am not accepted to ncc i will be more than happy to attend bridgeport (both are wonderful programs) i was just wondering if anyone heard anything cause a few months ago these blogs were jammin with responses and then all of a sudden it was quiet so i figured i'd spark it back up. thanks all of you for your responses and good luck to everyone!!
I heard back from Norwalk Community College Saturday and I got in! Well, apparently I got in for the Spring semester.. I applied to the fall, but I'm assuming it's booked or I'm kind of wait listed or something I was def accepted and there was even a section that allowed me to check if I wanted to accept my admissions and if a spot for fall opened I would take it, so thats what I did!! I'm curious if this happened to anyone else, either way I'm happy to have been accepted. I have my pre-req's done otherwise I would say they probably wanted me to finish them first, but oh well! I'm still happy! Good luck to everyone still waiting...

No I haven't heard anything. The only person in my A&P II course to hear anything was the lab aide. She was turned down because a science was too old or something like that. Other than that no one has heard.
