Hello! I wanted to create this for those applying to Cal State San Marcos ABSN Spring 2022 Cohort.

Yeah I did LOL I didn't realize CSUSM rolls over their application so I paid them twice too hahaha, I'm a dummy

Awwww no not at all! It was just a mistake and look! You got 40 points! ?

I was just curious because I wonder if I got a notice even though my score was lower than 40 because I had applied for Fall 2021.

If you don’t hear back or see your status changed by Thursday, I’d say it’s OK to email [email protected] and phrase your question this way. (just a suggestion. You know best how you want to communicate. ☺️)

You had initially applied for Fall 2021 and made a mistake of reapplying for Spring 2022 to be re-evaluated for more points instead of emailing the admissions office to be re-evaluated.  Let them know you received 40 points this time for Spring 2022. Could this “re-applying” mistake complicate my status to be considered for admission?

This might just bring their attention to your points and application and look into what’s going on.  When I initially got my re-evaluation, the counselor told me my application would be included in the first round of review (without promising I would be in or not). Again I don’t know if this was the case just because I was a Fall 2021 applicant.

if you submitted your Spring 2022 application closer to the deadline, they might be reviewing your application according to time..? ? That would be my guess.. you might remember some of the late Fall 2021 applicants who got higher than 40 points still got a notice later on. ?

Hang in there! ☺️

wow THANK YOU for being so helpful, Hope4110! I'll definitely do that if I don't hear back, I'm hoping they're just on lunch break right now haha! You're definitely onto something though, maybe they do prioritize re-evaluations for the first round of review.

Thanks again for all your help! ?

Admitted! My score was a 40 and my last name starts with S.  So, yeah maybe they were going alphabetical.

Does anyone live in Orange County and want to carpool?

I received the email! Anyone else?

Hi everyone! Just received my admission, and I got the email as well. I have 37 points. Good luck to anyone who hasn't heard yet!

Just got the email too.

I got the email too just now!

Should we start a facebook/ or some other page we can talk more about other info/ questions if we have?

Yippee my portal just changed to "admitted"! ?

That sounds like a great idea! I think other cohorts have created FB groups

Specializes in OR, Nursing Professional Development.

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

One is to create a facebook page.  This link is allowed to be posted.

The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.

Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.

We wish you success In your Nursing program!
