CSUSM Spring 2022

Hello! I wanted to create this for those applying to Cal State San Marcos ABSN Spring 2022 Cohort. 

My status changed to admitted as well today!  (39 points, initially applied for Fall 2021, Last name starts with G). I wonder if the email will be sent out tomorrow then.

Woohoo, congrats!! I initially applied for Fall too, but it was incredibly competitive. Acceptances below 40 weren't even seen until the later waves! Excited for you ?

Congrats on the acceptances everyone!

My last name starts with K. I had 45 points -- 4.0 last 60, 3.9 prereqs, 90.0% TEAS.

Does anyone know the deadline to accept? Looks like other schools won't notify until end of November.

They do the acceptances in batches, so just take a deep breath. If you have 40 points or more you'll be in for sure.

I think this might be the case (working on batches). This morning my status for Spring 2022 got created with “Not completed.” ? and it looks like they finally updated it to completed and then admitted.  At first I was a bit nervous and had planned on emailing them tomorrow about it.

Congrats! From what I read in the Spring 2019 forum, you have two weeks to accept the offer and pay the deposit.

Hang in there! Yours will be coming soon. Did you check the Student Center website? This morning is when they created another line of status for me for Spring 2022. The counselor had mentioned this fix happen if I get admitted. Do you have another box with Spring 2022 application status slot created?

Thank you for the kind words! Yeah, I actually didn't have a problem with that. I've had the Spring 2022 row since I applied the second time. But both still say "Completed Application" Just waiting (not so) patiently now!

So, once I select admit do I pay the $150 deposit for the Spring?

From what people have said above and in other forums, you can accept and pay the deposit right now. However, this may mean you won't receive your official letter of acceptance email. It doesn't affect your acceptance, but it's just preference.

Hey, just curious.. did you submit an application for Fall 2021 and again for Spring 2022?

Yeah I did LOL I didn't realize CSUSM rolls over their application so I paid them twice too hahaha, I'm a dummy

Hey redivy, do emails usually get sent out a day after the student center website is updated for being admitted?  I do want to receive the email ?. 
any other tips and advice for those starting in Spring 2022?? Thank you! ?
