No they don’t offer any conditional acceptances. They go strictly by the evaluation sheet which you won’t get until you submit everything. Even if they did give you an eval sheet before you took you TEAS or something, your points wouldn’t be anywhere near high enough for an acceptance!

So between when you applied and when you got your points eval/acceptance, how long did it take? I finally submitted my last transcript so I'm waiting to see how long it'll take before they can evaluate it.

Hey guys! I originally applied for fall 2020 in march but my application got pushed back. I got 24 points because well my TEAS score was low. I got a 76.7% and my pre nursing GPA was a 3.35. I hope at least to be accepted into Summer 2021 and Spring is super competitive. I haven't received an admissions decision yet, has anyone else?

Are you planning to retake your TEAS? I heard they haven’t taken anyone under 30 points in the last couple semesters. I don’t think anyone has heard about Summer. Good luck though!

If anything it might be more competitive now that the fall semester applicants were pushed to Spring. The deadline for Summer 2021 applications is September 30th, so I think they’ll wait till then to start rolling out acceptance letters. I agree that you should retake your TEAS. Looking at the most recent admissions it’s getting crazy, like people having points in the mid 40s crazy. Don’t lose hope though. Have you thought about possibly an entry level MSN program if you cant get into this one?

Thanks so much for the info! Yeah I am definitely retaking my TEAS. I am currently studying for it. My goal is to score at least 90% or above. I am considering schools out of state and ELM programs such as JHU and USD but those are ridiculously expensive but I am applying anyway. I feel so discouraged and I am a CSUSM alumni but I might not get into my own alma matter ? I am sorry for the rant but I can't see myself doing anything other than nursing. My plan B is going overseas or out of state. It's ridiculous that CA has a shortage of nurses and yet it is still so hard to get in! Kudos to everyone that got into a CA program! You guys rock!

I applied months ago and I just received it but it wasn't complete even though all my stuff is submitted. It only had my pre-req GPA.

My advisor hasn't replied yet about it so IDK whats going on. Has this happened to anyone else?

What do you mean it wasn't complete? If it had your prereq GPA wouldn't that mean you've met all the requirements? Assuming you have a conferred degree and the TEAS scores submitted? Or maybe they're waiting until the deadline to give out the actual points? That's so weird

Yea exactly! I’m just going to give it a couple weeks and see if they update it or not because I’ve been bugging my counselor enough ?
