CSUS Sacramento State Spring 2019

Published

Not sure if it has been made already, but I decided to make a forum for Spring 2019 applicants for Sacramento State!

Yes, they selected the 16th applicant

Decisions are out tomorrow guys!

It's crazy how there's only a 3 point difference from the 80th seat and 130th! I'm sitting at 68 points. I keep getting anxiety thinking the optional criteria didn't go through but I'm 100% sure I qualify for it. Ahhhh the wait is killing me!

I got in! Check your emails folks!

Nothing for me, so far.

I got in as well with 74 points. There is a good chance I will not accept as I have been accepted elsewhere as well.

Good luck to everyone who got in and who are on the waitlist. Because they were so late with decisions, those towards the top of the waitlist should not despair. Some folks who get in will have already committed elsewhere.

Best of luck all!

Me, too! For those who got in and are local, come say hello and we can celebrate. I work at Drake's at The Barn in West Sac. I'm here this Friday and look forward to meeting you!!!

I'm afraid I'm far from local hah...I live in San Diego county. I might be giving up my spot as I would prefer to go to Chico though I would have to call and make sure the fires didn't impact clinical rotation etc...But I do love Sac!

Specializes in Neuro ICU.

I got alternate number 2!!! Keep us updated for any of you that decline your spot ;)

If you're waiting on Sac I think you have such a good chance. It isn't for sure but since Sac State delayed their admissions some individuals may have just picked another institution since it's so late already. In addition, you're number 2! I would have nothing to worry about considering I think someone said they accepted 16 last year off the WL!

I need help understanding the waitlist, especially since they only offered 67 seats and are holding the 10 other seats until Wednesday. So if I was to be waitlist #15, theoretically, am I rank #5 on the waitlist?

Seems like there was an error made for mine! The Department of World Languages never submitted my bilingual form. Good thing I have proof of when I personally came in and submitted it to them. Im going to have to contact them tomorrow and see what happened. Since the error was on their part, will my documents still be considered?

I'm so disheartened :( I didn't get the 4 points for environmental background when I'm absolutely sure my school is technically considered. If I was sitting at 64 points this whole time why didn't she email me that I didn't get in in the first place? Would've saved me a whole lot of hoping and praying.
