Not sure if it has been made already, but I decided to make a forum for Spring 2019 applicants for Sacramento State!
Ya, I was able to submit my ITE on October 16th (just checked to make sure I wasn't crazy, you guys have me wondering). I received my University Admission Decision around that time. They haven't admitted me to the Nursing Program yet, but I am on "Admitted" status for CSUS as an "Expressed Interest in Nursing" major... not sure if that makes sense.They should have sent you an email telling you your general University Admission status already, that was supposed to go out in October... I wish I could be of more help on this particular topic, but I'm at a loss! I didn't realize that people hadn't received their general admission status yet. Is there anyone else on this thread that got theirs in October? What do you think?
Are you a Sac resident?
Yes, I think that's why you were able to do it as transfers are unable to until admission arrives.
Anywho, for those unsure or forgot how much points they had, I just found out their point calculator for the nursing program.
I should have around 70-72 points depending on certain technical details. I hope I didn't make a mistake. So we hear back from them on November 26th if we are admitted or waitlisted?
I probably wont get in. I am applying with only 66 points. Its crazy how a single B can affect you that much. After I omitted two grades, I only have one B in societal patters, and that single B puts me at 66. If I had an A in that class, I would be applying with 71 points. :s
I have:
Bilingual= 3 pts.
Disadvantaged background= 4 pts.
First generation = 4 pts.
No repeats = 2 pts.
Teas = 88.75 = 18 pts.
Adjusted nursing = 35 pts.
Total = 66 pts.
I cant believe only one single B puts me out of the ball park.
Did anyone receive an email tonight? I'm thinking because of campus being closed that they just are not going to send anything out. But figured I would ask. I know it would be a good sign if I didn't get one, but I'm close in points and am not sure if I made a mistak.
Good luck everyone!

I did receive an email stating that i did not get in. They did not give me points for second language even though spanish is my first language, so i didnt even make it to the wait list. I ended up with only 63 points which is nothing compared to everyone else. The email said that the accepted student ranked 80 has 70 points and student number 130 has 66 points. So if you have more than 70 points, it is very likely you got in...
I'm so sorry, I'm not thinking I'm not getting in. I believe I have 67 points. So the point cut off went up, that's really unfortunate. They had originally said 69, with that change I don't think I'll be getting in. Thank you for your response.
I know they said that... i hope you get a solid spot in the waitlist. It is crazy how competitive it is. I only had one B and i had points for most of the optional criteria and yet didnt even make it to the waitlist. It makes me wonder what everyone else had. They must had perfect scores and beyond.
