Hi Everyone! I was searching around and couldn't seem to find a thread for the spring and fall 2016 ABSN program at CSUN. Hopefully we can use this thread to talk to and support each other as we go on this crazy journey :D

You are combining two different ideas here, relating to a previous cohort with something about an applicant tab and incomplete tasks stating advisement required in major. I have both, an applicant tab and advisement required in major. Again, I would say it's probably safest to not assume anything as it seems they have been anything but consistent with their notification/admittance process.

The prior cohort post states nothing about advisement required in major. I think these posts are just driving people up a wall. This is why it's anything but safe. With all that said, good luck and I hope you all hear back soon.

I think I saw it on the 2014 cohort....i will look for it and see if I can post it here...

@labellevie - yes, the prior cohort did say that your major would change from Pre-Nursing to Nursing, but nobody here claimed to be admitted.

What we have identified is that some people have the "Advisement" message and some have nothing.

Did everyone that got an updated portal have no incompleted tasks prior? I have one incomplete task that I am waiting for Admissions to update. They are so backed up in mail that they said it will take a week or two before my tasks should be complete.

@laluna_26 my final transcript is still on the list. It was sent Feb 3rd. I called and they said it takes a while before it gets evaluated.

I do have a question regarding the interview, will there still be an interview before getting accepted or no?

Did everyone did the health part of the application where you are supposed to get signed my a nurse or doctor on the paper? I didn't see that until the last minute so I didn't do it. It sucks that they didn't talk about that on the website and just put that as a application part.
