CSUN 2016 ABSN

Hi Everyone! I was searching around and couldn't seem to find a thread for the spring and fall 2016 ABSN program at CSUN. Hopefully we can use this thread to talk to and support each other as we go on this crazy journey :D

Did anyone get an acceptance and an email saying you were an alternate? I applied for both summer and fall so I think that's why. Can anyone confirm?

@yulzG Did you get two emails as well? At first, it said that I got in. Then, I got another email saying I am an alternate.

I tried calling to ask but no answer. I think it's cause we applied to both. If anyone figures out if that's the reason please let us know!!!

Did everyone that got acceptance get there emails all about the same time? Before 4 pm? Just curious if there sending them out all at same time or in parts before they close today. Thanks.

Did everyone did the health part of the application where you are supposed to get signed my a nurse or doctor on the paper? I didn't see that until the last minute so I didn't do it. It sucks that they didn't talk about that on the website and just put that as a application part.
Did you get an email from the nursing department stating that your application was completed?

Yea they close at 5pm so I'm wondering if they're done for summer applicants or if we still have hope on Friday

@labellevie No I havent received one single email from the department. I onlt received letter from university thats all.

I just got the email that I was selected as an alternate for either Summer or Fall. I'm so dissapointed..Did anyone else get waitlisted. Does anyone know how good the chances are of a seat opening. Congrats to all that got in!

It's confirmed if you received two emails, one acceptance and one alternate. Just disregard the alternate one. Just spoke with csun.

@jozaje I only got one email saying that I was an alternate. I hope there are seats available for both of us. It's a bummer that you go to emails that makes it confusing :no:
