Hi Everyone! I was searching around and couldn't seem to find a thread for the spring and fall 2016 ABSN program at CSUN. Hopefully we can use this thread to talk to and support each other as we go on this crazy journey :D

it is new information that was just updated yesterday. i have been checking my portal pretty religiously.

Oh ok - so it was a change - we just don't know if that means anything since everyone has the change. :unsure:

Correct. It seems that if all of us have it then it may not mean anything.

under status does it say student or applicant? mine is now showing student then applicant

The more I search around the more I see, in SOLAR I am able to see the list of nursing courses from "Search for Classes" and choosing the drop downs of Summer 2016, year round cohorts, Nursing. I am pretty sure the "advisement required" is new because prior to that I kept checking Incomplete tasks to make sure there was nothing left for me to do, and it definitely never said Advisement required. I am really hoping I'm not jumping ahead of myself... that would be super embarrassing. But I can't imagine that we would have had to change our passwords and now have access to new things if we haven't been accepted right? I guess I could just be patient and wait for the email...but where's the fun in that? ;)

Well the password change occurred today, the portal was updated yesterday. I didn't have to change my password but was able to see the new changes yesterday.

We have established that "Advisement" is new. But we all have it.

Hopefully that means we are all admitted, but we don't really have a foundation for that, so I guess we wait until later today...or tomorrow...or Friday...

You didn't have to change your password yesterday? Or you haven't had to change it at all?

I did have to change it today. But the "Advisement" thing was updated yesterday, before I had to change my password.

Oh ok - that means we're in the same place we were... waiting with no new information

Under My Checklist, under the "Registration" heading, mine says "Summer Appt/Enrollment". When I click on that I have an appointment time and date (like an actual time/date). Does anyone else?
