Hi Everyone! I was searching around and couldn't seem to find a thread for the spring and fall 2016 ABSN program at CSUN. Hopefully we can use this thread to talk to and support each other as we go on this crazy journey :D

I just spoke to the department and they said that an email will be sent today LATEST Friday.

Wow. I just tried to access, but could not access my CSUN portal anymore. Does that mean I got rejected :( ??

I just logged in and I had to make a new password! I logged in yesterday with no issues.

Does that mean you got accepted? @Jensfro What does your status change to if you get accepted in the program?Because right now mine is still saying "you have been provisionally admitted to Csun"

@jesse1314 you have to do a bit of digging around, but under "Incomplete Tasks" it will now say "Advisement Required in Major"

What does "Advisement Required in Major" mean?

@jensfro.. it says that for me too under incomplete tasks..Does that mean we're in the program though?

@jojaze I'm not sure, but I would guess that it is a required orientation or something of the sort.

@jesse1314 I'm assuming so, because I can access all of the stuff on portal. In the financial area it is showing no fees, obviously, but a hold titled "Advising Mandatory". And I'm showing a start date of 3/29/2016.

Hi all! Just waiting like the rest of you...

I have "Advisement Required in Major" as well... but I don't remember what it said before. Does anyone else remember? In other words, is this actually a change?
