Hey everyone,

I want to apply for csulb nursing program for spring 2015 cohort, is there anybody here who is applying for spring also? Do you think spring cohort is easier to get in?

Okay cool! Then we should be expecting that long awaited email soon!!

I know but since the self service applicant status says once accepted turn in documents by deadline and I believe the deadline is today... But I have talked to the lady and she told me don't I just don't want there to be any problems in the long run..

So...I just called the help desk to ask about activating MyCSULB account and the person said that we'll have to wait for the acceptance emails to be sent in order for us to do so. Just FYI.

@lilitc I talked to csulb admissions last week because I was concerned with my transcripts regarding general education certification and other stuff.. and the person I talked to said that they will give you "ample time" (she did not specify how many days) to order your transcripts AFTER they have contacted you and requested them from you. And yes the deadline to turn in transcripts for other majors is probably today because they already got accepted by their programs way earlier than our program. So we have to wait until the SON tells CSULB admissions who is accepted, Then CSULB admissions will tell us when to turn in our transcripts and what our specific deadline is for the nursing students.

No one that I know of? I'm assuming that the request to send transcripts to CSULB admissions will be included in THE email that everyone is waiting for haha.

Being a veteran does not automatically get you accepted into the program. As long as one scores a 70% on the Teas and has a 3.00 gpa then a veteran will get at least an interview.

Ya, but who gets denied at the interview? It was the points (or military service) that gets you in... I don't know of anyone who was denied after they got to interview.....

Has anyone received an email from admissions actually REQUESTING their transcripts???

I did not. The supplemental application says they will ask and not to send in before the request is sent to us.
