CSULB Spring 2015

I will be applying for Spring 2015 as well. Just wondering, how many points do you have? I have around 9.2-9.21 points, hopefully that's enough for me to get in. I heard Spring is generally easier than Fall admissions because there are less applicants.

I have 9.31 , I've heard the same thing as well. But I'm thinking to take the teas test agin to improve my score . My GPA is 4 so u can't do anything about it , the only thing that can increase my score is the teas test though.have you heard anything about their programs ?

Well I heard there are two programs, the basic and the trimester, the basic takes 3 yrs and trimester only 2. Is that what you were asking?

And you should be safe with a 9.3 score, I read that the cutoff for Fall 2014 was 9.3 and Spring is always a couple of points lower (look at past admittance stats) I think Spring 2014 cutoff was like 9.1.

Yes thank you ,the cut off was 9.3 for the acceptance or with alternatives ? I means is the one with 9.3 get in or was in the alternative list ?

Hmmm... I believe it was just the acceptances not alternates, but am not 100% sure. You should check the CSULB Fall 2014 thread to confirm

Do you know which program is better to choose ? Trimester or basic ? I've heard that trimester students are having hard time to find a job vs basic students can find a job faster , is that true ?

Oh really? where did you hear that? I'm not really sure I just know trimester finishes quicker than the basic program.

I am also applying for the Sp '15 Cohort. I applied for Fall '14, but was not accepted because I had MicroBio in progress. The default 'C' grade for an in-progress course dropped my score to a 9.1 (cutoff was 9.3)

Now that I finished Micro, I have a 9.63, so I should be nearly guaranteed a spot this time....

I was accepted into CSULA BSN program for Fall '14, and I am supposed to start in September, but I really want this to finish earlier. The LA program is an entire extra year of courses. Plus, they are switching from quarter to semester schedule, and the students may end up getting screwed in the changeover.

(they may be experimenting with a new nursing curriculum schedule which may be good, or may be bad. Makes me nervous)

You will definitely get accepted , same thing happened to me , I applied for Fall '14 , but was not accepted because I had micro in progress.

Hopefully the cutoff is lower than Fall. With that score, you should definitely be able to get into LA. Did you apply for Fall '14 at LA?

I dont understand your question though. They are both great careers, just depends on what route you wanna take.
