  1. Hey peeps. I have my interview tomorrow and low key freaking out. Any advice from those have gone through the interview already? ?
  2. Hi fatrabbit. Everyone (those above the cut score and potential alternates) are required to do the interview. If you're invited to interview, you will have the option to make an appointment for the interview in the hours available. Hope that info helps!
  3. I just received the official acceptance letterfrom SON. Attached is the cotract we have to sign and submit by December 1st.
  4. @limorgolan Do you know if the SON accepts titers done more than a year ago?
  5. Who here wants to be in the trimester program?
  6. Do you really mean the trimester is that torturous?
  7. With regard to sending in a CSU GE cert. after submitting the official transcript, this was suggested by the admissions and records representative I spoke to from my school (SMC).
  8. Not exactly what I meant. CSULB admissions person I spoke to did not say anything other than "sealed official transcripts" are ok to be handed in. Nothing about GE cert.
  9. For my school (Santa Monica College), CSU certification takes 6 to 8 weeks "officially" (but just called SMC admissions and was told it could be done in as little as 4 weeks ). But because this would not meet the deadline, I just ordered an official transcript online "rushed" to my home and I'll just hand it in to CSULB admissions (called CSULB admin. and was told "sealed official transcripts" are ok to submit in person). I don't want to rely on snail mail for this one. I'll probably request CSU GE Cert. after and have it sent to CSULB so they could update their records (as suggested to me by SMC admin personnel I spoke with).
  10. There is a section in the student portal dedicated to financial aid info. There are links to decline/accept the financial aid you have been deemed eligible for. Just activate your account and you will see this. Hope this helps.
  11. I just did! Also paid the $150 they ask as proof of your intent to enroll.
  12. I just got it too! Im SOOOOO HAPPY!
  13. So...I just called the help desk to ask about activating MyCSULB account and the person said that we'll have to wait for the acceptance emails to be sent in order for us to do so. Just FYI.
  14. I hope they send it soon. I need to get some sleep.
  15. I remember that the Director of undergrad nursing saying in the info session last September that the school waits for SON on whom to offer admission. It makes sense because there is really no point of them inviting you to accept admission unless the SON has already qualified you to be accepted in the program. We declare majors in our school app so they won't act on your app unless SON gives the "ok". Just my two cents
