  1. Congratulations to everyone who got accepted into the SON! Couple of pointers: Designate someone to create a facebook group as soon as possible, this way everyone can learn and trade information generally faster than this forum allows. (you can add me once you do and I'll help out as much as possible) DO NOT wait until the last minute to complete your tracker information, you will recieve more info on this soon if you haven't already. The program itself is rough! The only real difference between trimester and semester are the breaks inbetween THATS IT. So choose which one you think would be a better fit for you. Some people like to de-stress between semesters, some want to plough right through it. There is no wrong or right decision with this. its all about your preference. Once again, congragulations and good luck....Get started on creating that facebook page. It will save you all major headaches!
  2. Fall is ALWAYS more competitive than Spring semester. You don't need a 4.0, I know that for sure! lol. To those who did not get in, don't give up! I got denied in fall and got accepted for spring. Now I'm halfway through the first semester. For those who did get in! I will see you guys Wednesday! I'll be part of the welcoming committee. Just look for the over-friendly black guy lol. If you have any questions there, I'll try to answer them as best I can! Good Luck!!!!!
  3. I actually don't remember my score, got rid of my calculations awhile ago lol. But the program is so much fun! It's challenging, but rewarding nonetheless. Then again, I'm only in week 3 lol.
  4. The interviews are just communication exercises. Just go in, speak up, follow directions, and show that you have a brain and personality, and that you know how to communicate well with others and you'll be fine. If/when you guys get letters, they will let you know all the details, and no studying isn't necessary!
  5. You guys remind me of our group from Spring of 2015! LOL. All of your scores look really good. The cutoff for Spring session was a 9.32 I believe. Good luck to you guys!! I'm in first semester right now and it's an extremely gratifying experience!
  6. If you're still a student at any school you can get it from the health services bldg. I got mine from my community college.
  7. Titer results DO NOT expire. According to the CSULB Nursing Student handbook 2014.
  8. Search for: CSU Long Beach Nursing 2015
  9. Nothing as of yet...I imagine sometime by the end of this week. I believe the oirentation date will be on December 13th. If that's what you are wondering. But it would be nice to have official confirmation!
  10. Joe: Make sure you type CSU Long Beach Nursing 2015 and not CSULB Nursing
  11. Really!?!? Do you know which one it is? I can always delete the one I made and just subscribe to that one!
  12. Hey All, I created a Facebook group that we can all join (for those of us who have Facebook). Just log in and search 'CSU Long Beach Nursing 2015' and click join group. This way we have a way to network and get to know each other while promoting useful information! Look forward to seeing you guys on there!
  13. You have till December 1st.
  14. Does anyone have their csulb student email yet? Was wondering what you guys thought about creating a Facebook group for the Spring nursing class?
  15. Just got the email from SON!! See y'all at orientation!!!
