Hey everyone,
I want to apply for csulb nursing program for spring 2015 cohort, is there anybody here who is applying for spring also? Do you think spring cohort is easier to get in?

Just one or the other. But, it depends on what school you are transferring from. Some colleges offer courses that are not acceptable. This is a link to their course equivalency chart for all the various transferring schools:

It's official, I just turned down my spot at CSULA, and put a Leave of Absence on my Cal Grant award....
That was not easy...

Hey guys, I'm applying for spring 2015 as well! If I calculated my scores right I should have a 9.44. I'm retaking the TEAS in a week though so i can raise my score a little and gaurantee that i get in. Good luck to you all!
I wanted to take the teas test again but since it became computer based I'm afraid my score doesn't go up . I think I will have less time with computer ? so I'm gonna apply with 9.31 score , ???

Hey guys, just saw your thread. I'm one of the lucky people that got accepted into the fall 2014 trimester program. From what I hear, the applicant pool is much smaller than the fall's 604 applicants, 70 got accepted. The cutoff score for the fall was 9.36 (J-Friday correct me if I'm wrong), and I got a 9.42. Trimester students have a chance to land a contract with Long Beach Memorial Hospital. From what I hear about 70% of trimester students get the contract. If you have any questions please let me know!
Thank you for your help. I'm sure you'll be getting plenty of questions soon..
:)
Hey Limorgolan ,

I just have a quick question I'm hoping you guys can clear up.
For the pre-req General Ed GPA worth 2 points in the nursing application, is it based solely on our Stats, English, Critical Thinking, and Speech GPA? or is it based on our cumulative GPA for our entire college transcripts?
From my reading of the general info it seems that it's based only on those select general ed courses but I just wanted to be clear
for my own understanding.

Hey guys, I see that some of you already got info on your log in for the school, and CSULB nursing app? I sent my general admissions application (csumentor) in last week and still haven't heard from the school. How long did you guys have to wait to receive info about the nursing application? Thanks!
I got the acknowledgment e-mail about a week after my submission.
