Hey everyone,
I want to apply for csulb nursing program for spring 2015 cohort, is there anybody here who is applying for spring also? Do you think spring cohort is easier to get in?
I did apply for CSULA but I didnt get in just because of my reading score , my reading score was lower than 40 percentile ( 37). my GPA is 4.00 but my teas test is around 83%
CSULB is the only option I have ,
I just saw in their website that the last alternate selected is 19 , that means 19 alternates got accepted. I'm just hoping to get in for Spring .
Are u planning to go to CSULA or do u want to apply for Long Beach ?
Well...lol
I am already enrolled at LA, and my registration appointment is the 29th. However, I also applied to LB for spring....lol
I want LB. If they accept me, I'm going.... that would mean I could finish my stupid History requisite this fall, and finish school 2 years from Spring. If I go the LA route, I will go 3 years and still need another semester for the History course.
Another issue, at LA we are never full-time students (absolutely ridiculous). We'd have to add extra courses almost every quarter to keep full-time status. LB is full-time every semester with the Nursing school.
That's good. There is no doubt that you would get accepted for LB. You have the highest possible score, but I be heard that the trimester program is very intense and sometimes it's even hard to find a job after graduating. There isn't any active forum for the spring '15 here so we can see what the other applicants score ,
Your 9.3 should be fine. This application pool will be much smaller than Fall.
We can start another score list, like last semester's thread. And… My score is correct this time…lol
I didn't know about the "Default C" grade when I calculated last time, but the class is completed now.
New people can just copy and paste the post while adding their score to the list.
It helped us really see what was happening in the Fall Application pool. Hopefully more people become active on this thread.

We just have to reapply. The only reason you'd have to resend any transcript, including TEAS, is if something on the transcript has changed. And the TEAS is good for 2 years from the date of exam.
I have to resend two college t-scripts that have changed.
You may want to call, but that's what I understand.
I have a question though. On the Nursing App, it asks if we have a student ID. Should we use the one given to us during the Fall application period; or, will we get a new ID number from the school after our new LB application is reviewed?

Hi Angel!
Hopefully the cutoff is lower than Fall. With that score, you should definitely be able to get into LA. Did you apply for Fall '14 at LA?
I dont understand your question though. They are both great careers, just depends on what route you wanna take.
