CSULB Spring 2015

Published

Hey everyone,

I want to apply for csulb nursing program for spring 2015 cohort, is there anybody here who is applying for spring also? Do you think spring cohort is easier to get in?

Yea, I definitely didn't allocate time to it, between two kids and running my own business I let that fall through the cracks...well I've lived and I have learned. I'm sure it'll all work out, but until then I'll be a stressed out chica

Well…. You're not out of the running yet. It all depends on the numbers that apply. But it's definitely gonna be close--if at all… :nailbiting:

You can still start Fall semester at either school once you have studied and retaken the TEAS. It's just gonna be a six month delay…:brb:

It sucks, but it happens. I got denied on this last Fall Application because of my "In Progress" course. :banghead:  :sorry:

But, good luck to you, and I hope you do get in….

Hopefully, it sucks you have to apply again because they gave you a "c" for an in progress class. Policies, policies, but it always ends up working out one way or another.

In response to lupeo1792, I turned in my application the day after you (9/12, Friday) and the lady was not there, so I had left mine with another staff member as well. Hopefully both of our applications will be accepted..

Also, does anyone know when we will know if we got into the program or not?

Well November 15th for those who get called for the communication exercise, but I'm not sure about those who do not make it that far

Are u sure ? Mid November is two months after the application deadline , it shouldn't take that long since ,I think ,there are less applications compare to fall cohort

You're supposed to know if you go in for the communication exercise by mid October and then you'll find out if you're in the program by mid November.

Where did you get this info?

That sounds about right. I've been reading the forums from the last couple years and they have gotten they interview emails around sept 31st-mid October and after interviews they let you know if you're in around October 31st til mid November.

It was posted on the CSULB website before, but they took it down now that they put up the info for Fall 2015. They said you will be contacted within 30 days of the application deadline for a communication exercise and that you will be notified by November 15 if you are admitted. They also said not to contact the school until after November 15 regarding whether you have been accepted or not.

Hey guys, I hope you guys are prepared for the craziness that is nursing school! I'm sure what they tell you is that getting in is the hard part... But it's the easy part. Be prepared to be in the books and stuff like that so much!
