Hey everyone,
I want to apply for csulb nursing program for spring 2015 cohort, is there anybody here who is applying for spring also? Do you think spring cohort is easier to get in?

I remember the admissions coordinator saying that if you turn your application in closer to the deadline date it takes them longer to send confirmation emails because there's a lot of applications to process towards the end of the application period.

I also have applied to CSULB nursing program for spring and sadly I only received a 84% on my TEAS overall and 76.7% in the math section which is so bad however i did only study for like 4 days. Anyways if i calculated everything correctly I have
Science g.p.a. 4.0 all A's in bio 20(a&p), micro, and chem
Overall 3.75 All a's and one B
Teas 84%
Math 76.7%
so I'm thinking i have 4+1.875+1.68+1.534= 9.089.... I'm officially depressed looking at what you all have; I wish I took more time to study. I don't think that I'm going to be very competitive. This is my number one choice I have zero chance of getting into CSULA i have no health experience at all

CSULA is the easiest program to get into. I got accepted, and I could have got in with out my 2 points for work experience.
Why do you think you have no chance at CSULA? They don't count the math score. And your grades are good.
I think you would get in without a problem. Have you calculated your points for the program application?
They had about as many applicants as LB For Fall, and they accepted people with as little as 23/31 points... I believe... I know 24 for sure....
Anyone here a second degree seeker? (Post bacc)
Third degree...
But my first two are Associate's...
Nothing from my first degree transferred to my second, so I had to start over.....
A.A. in Guitar Performance
A.S. in Health Sciences
What about you?

Sadly i I would only have like 21 points at csula I believe I didn't do that well in spelling grammar section, I got 99 percentile in the first English section ughhh. Getting into a nursing program is crazy stressful.

This is why I recommend to EVERYONE to RETAKE THE TEAS !!!!!
And definitely spend more than 4 days studying on an exam in which the result represents the culmination of YEARS of studying in undergrad school and possibly dictates the rest of your professional life thereafter.... just my opinion....
