Published

Hey everyone,

I want to apply for csulb nursing program for spring 2015 cohort, is there anybody here who is applying for spring also? Do you think spring cohort is easier to get in?

From what I understand, it is not counted in your transfer GPA, and it will be accepted as long as it has the 'CSU' articulation designation in the Pierce College course description.

Joe Friday thanks , I just saw your message , have you checked spring 2014 posts ? They said they didn't have interview , I'm so confused , is it possible not to have the interview ?!!!

And do u know if for the grad school they consider the college GPA or bsn GPA or both ?

I think the Spring 14 interview was cancelled. Not that they didn't have to interview, but for some reason it was cancelled.

I believe we will be interviewed also. As for the Grad School part, sheesh... I dont know... I'm just trying to get into the undergrad program...lol

These are all GREAT questions that could easily be answered by the director. Just call the school...lol

It's ok. They won't bite

:)

As we get closer to the application deadline I become more nervous , I hope we all get in :nurse:

Hey everybody! Hope you guys are doing well! Just a quick question. I just want to be sure I'm doing everything right.

For the supplemental application we send in to the SON, we just fill out this application from the site:

http://www.csulb.edu/colleges/chhs/departments/nursing/docs/BasicBSNApplication-Spring2015v1fILLIN.pdf

And then attach all of our official transcripts with it and turn it in? That's all we need to do right?

Yes nair, and your teas transcript if you didn't take it at CSULB. But for the sake of clarity lets just call that the "school of nursing application". Because there is a supplemental application that needs to be sent to CSULB admissions by the 22nd which is done online.

Ok thanks! Wait, so we should print out our TEAS results from ATI and send it in too with our application? Because I already sent my scores to long beach through ATI (paid $25) to send it to CSULB. Should I also put in a copy of my results in the application too?

Sorry for so many questions lol

Do you think its worth it to apply if your score is around 8.7? Because there's only 2 tries so...

no you don't need to put the copy of your result in the application they want official transcript from ati , so if you sent the transcript directly from ati you will be fine ,

Anyone here a second degree seeker? (Post bacc)

Did anyone get an email from ------------------ saying she received your application ? Or did she give you something when you turned it in?

I handed my application to another staff member and she said she would give it to ----------------------- because she had to leave early, now I'm worried because I did not get confirmation.

I never got a confirmation either. Maybe try emailing the school to ask if they have received your app?
