CSULB Nursing Fall 2021

Hi everyone! As CSU applications open up, I wanted to start a thread for all of my fellow pre-nursing students looking to transfer to CSULB!

Don’t worry! I think they’ll go easier on us and be more understanding if we’re unprepared because they didn’t give us much time to prepare anyway, which may also be a sign that they probably don’t think it’s necessary for us to prepare... otherwise they’d make sure to distribute the information promptly. 
 

From what I hear, the communication exercise isn’t bad at all. One of my friends actually thought it was fun and easy. So I feel like it would be chill/relaxed as long as we go into it with that mentality and make each other feel comfortable. As long as you know how to write and speak English, you’ll be fine! All I’m going to do to prepare is come up with answers for some basic interview questions.

Not me. I emailed yesterday asking if there was something wrong with my application and haven't heard back yet?‍♀️

I just got a confirmation email for the zoom and have registered for it, I’m in the afternoon slot. ?

I got an email today @ 6pm with the Zoom link for my communication exercise tomorrow @ 1-3pm. They will give you a link to register, which you have to do in order to join the Zoom meeting.

Sorry... to clarify, when I asked about second degree applicants I meant a post-master’s applicant.

OMG y'all, I am so nervous about this interview! ? They didn't really tell us what to expect and it makes me feel so underprepared ?

does anybody know how many participants were in the first zoom call? there were 51 in the afternoon slot, including a few faculty members. I’m just curious to know how many because they said they are going to admit 80 students into the program. ?
