CSULB Fall 2015 Applicants-Basic BSN

Published

I am extremely surprised there isn't a thread that exists for students applying to CSU LB for Fall 2015!!

Here are my stats, but enlighten me on one part, what does the general gpa consist of? I actually went to CSULB and met Monalisa, but she said the nursing program only looks at eight classes... Maybe I should call to reassure how they calculate the cummulative GPA, but my other scores are set.

Science GPA: 4.0: 4

TEAS Math: 100 : 2

TEAS Overall: (90.7x2)100:1.814

GE GPA: TBA

So far so good, but being that a 3.0 is the cut off gpa for general and science for the program I am giving myself a 3.0/2= 1.5 as a score and my points would be a 9.314 as a default. Hopefully it will be higher.

@hayleelanford, don't despair! I met a lot of people who were coming from all over the state who had applied to schools closer to home, which were actually their first choice (they were just covering their bases with schools farther away, like CSULB.) The applicants they (Long Beach) accept into the program first may not always accept back! This leaves more spaces open for others on the list.

Just to lbcc but that's an asn program... I got super caught up with working 3 jobs.

Just hoping they will take a lot of alternates :)

Well, that 9.0 can add up to 11 since you went to the interview. :)

Does anyone know by when they will let us know if we got into the program?

Our instructor told us in 2-3 weeks.

They told us the week of the 23rd:nailbiting:
