CSULB-ELMSN Fall 2011

Hey everyone so I have been waiting for a couple of years to finally have all of the pre-reqs done to be able to apply to nursing school. I am finally finished and am just waiting for CSULB-elmsn's program which will start in Fall 2011. I want to know who else is planning on applying so we can have each other to go through the process with and I'm not going to lie I would really like to see what the competition is like. Goodluck to everyone. I look forward to meeting you in the fall!

So I just got home and it is 1:00 in the morning and of course my wife is sound asleep and I don't want to wake her I know she has a big day tomorrow... but... I GOT THE INTERNSHIP at HOAG!!!! :) I thought I would at least share my good news with someone! One step closer. Next step Long Beach!

Congratulations Malefocker! I was a CCE at St. Mary in LB and just finished my hour requirement this past January. It really help me decide that nursing was definitely for me. I met a lot of nice nurses that was very willing to share their experience and opinion. It's a great experience. We're one day closer to the application deadline. I just want to turn my calendar to April already.

Congrats Malefocker! I've been volunteering as a CCE at St. Mary's since August. It has been great! I'm in L&D now, and I actually spend a lot of time working with the nurse who inspired me to get off my tail and go back to school for nursing. She was my nurse when I had my son :)

That is awesome!!! Yeah I am hoping that when we get done with school that being a CCE will help me make the necessary connections I will need in order to get a job...

congrats malefocker :D I had some friends who did the CCE program and loved the experience they got.

Also, for those who are going to take the TEAS at CSULB, where exactly can we park? I assume we go to 1250 Bellflower blvd Long Beach and head to room 19, right? (@_@)

I just interviewed for the CCE at St. Mary's today.. should find out on monday if I got in!
