Hello everyone, I was unable to find a thread with potential CSULB Spring transfers so I decided to start one. Hopefully, everyone is just as excited as I am :) I haven't taken the TEAS yet and I am currently wrapping up Micro. I plan on taking TEAS The end of may or early June and if I am unsatisfied with my results I will retake them in July. I would love to hear from other applicants! Good luck!!
I think the deadline they have given us is a little harsh given that they only give you 10-15 days to get them in. And some of the emails have dates that don't make much sense. So I'm thinking that it should be okay too, and that we should send in our transcripts, make sure they have sent, and hope that it's not a big deal! The school itself seems to be a bit hectic in their emailing and communication, so I'm gunna try not to stress.
Regarding this Nov 15th official transcript deadline... where is this deadline listed?
I haven't received any requests for transcripts via email, and the last time I heard from Monalisa was on Nov 2nd, when she told us we were accepted and to get our background checks done via castlebranch.
Vmaple mentioned a to-do list. Is that referencing the To-Do List found on myCSULB student center page? I don't have anything related to transcripts on that list.

Are you already a CSULB student? Because we might be getting these emails and requests on our to-do lists on myCSULB because we're transfer students.
How many students did these emails go out to? The acceptance email on Nov 2 went out to 81 recipients. Did these emails go out to substantially fewer recipients than that?
No, I haven't previously ever attended CSULB. I'm wouldn't consider myself a transfer as I am pursing a BSN as a second bachelor's. I think as part of the supplemental nursing application months ago, I may have sent in all my Official transcripts instead of just unofficial ones. Looks like I'll have to call admissions and ask them if they already have everything I need.
And I'd still love to clarify what the "to-do list" is that Vmaple is referencing.
I spoke with a very harried Monalisa, and she said this transcript deadline is an issue only pertinent to transfer students - just as dangerousgame suggested (thanks, dangerousgame). Post-bach's already submitted their official transcripts to the University for evaluation months (weeks?) ago.
I'm curious, did anybody receive anything today from the SON?
Nope. Not sure when we will hear more about orientation (I assume that's what you're expecting from SoN). When I spoke to Monalisa earlier today about my transcripts, she was very, very, busy. It did not seem like a good time to make further inquiries.

Yeah, when I spoke with her last week, she said we'd hear by Tuesday or Wednesday. Hopefully we will hear something by the end of the week.
Congratulations to everyone who was accepted!! If you have any questions about the program, what's coming next, or about classes please feel free to ask!
Hello! Thank you! I was wondering what will the general schedule look like for first semester? Is it 4 or 5 days a week? Will they all be lectures or are there clinicals and any insight you may have.

I just read the email they sent out today and it says at peak times, it should take about 2-3 weeks to process transcripts. I think even if we electronically send it, it wouldn't get processed right away.
