CSULB BSN Spring 2019

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello everyone, I was unable to find a thread with potential CSULB Spring transfers so I decided to start one. Hopefully, everyone is just as excited as I am :) I haven't taken the TEAS yet and I am currently wrapping up Micro. I plan on taking TEAS The end of may or early June and if I am unsatisfied with my results I will retake them in July. I would love to hear from other applicants! Good luck!!

I hve a question regarding the vaccines. If we dont have say the Hep B vaccine which is a 3 shot series over 6 months. Are we not allowed into the program until the 6 months?

You are still allowed in the program but are required to complete the series as soon as possible while in the program.

Has anyone here tried shooting for the trimester program but got placed into the semester program instead during orientation?

I talked to 4 people that got put in trimester and wanted semester. What about you?

I was shooting for semester and got put into trimester :/

Hi everyone, I am applying for the Fall 2019 cohort and was wondering if you guys think I have a chance of getting in?

Science GPA - 4

GE GPA - 2

TEAS overall - 1.75

TEAS reading - 1.70

that leaves me at a 9.45...I got a 87.3 on the TEAS and 85 on the reading, I didn't get to study or do as amazing as I wish I could have, but due to unfortunate personal reasons I wont be in town to retake it by the time applications are due.

Do you think this is good enough or will my TEAS score hold me back?

thanks!

Anyone who's currently in the program know if it's absolutely necessary to have a car in the first semester? I was planning on dorming on campus and taking an Uber/public transportation, but orientation emphasized the importance of having a car.

I don't know if this thread is still active but I just thought I'd ask...I took the TEAS twice and I sent Long Beach both reports. Should I have only sent them the highest? Should I only report the highest score on the application or should I report both because I sent them.

Hi @47RN, you should just send your highest score for your application. But since you already sent both scores, they will just take the highest score into consideration, most likely!

Hello! I applied to the Spring 2019 and did not receive any email until I sent an email asking for my admission. They said I did not pass the interview... Do you guys have any idea what could have gotten wrong?

My score was

Science: 4.00

GE GPA: 1.941

TEAS total: 1.8

TEAS Reading: 1.872

total score was 9.613

Thank you for reading!
