Hello, I am a nursing student who is starting the nursing school in Fall 2019. I am currently facing some problems before attending the nursing school. I learned that I need a stable transportation, auto insurance, and health insurance, but I do not have any of these. I do have a driver licence, but I do not have a car which also means no auto insurance. I also do not have a health insurance, and when I searched up to get one, none of the health insurance is available to apply right now because I missed the date to apply for it. I can't afford to get a car and an auto insurance, but I do not have enough money nor financial aid. My financial aid does not even cover for my tuition, so I'm paying with my loan. What do you guys think I can do to fulfill these requirements before nursing school?

Hello! I'm just wondering, what types of transportation do you guys have in mind? Since we are going to the hospitals for the clinical, is everyone bringing a car? or is there any other transportation choice?

Have anyone sent AP scores? When I was paying deposit, it said I should, but I don't see it on the required documents section.... I asked the admission office thru email, but they didn't respond me back.

I actually applied for the summer class at the community college because I was taking an educational leave, so I thought I should take a class before the school starts to refresh my brain. However, I think you are right. It's not really necessary to take summer class for extra credit.

Is there anyone planning to take summer class during summer?

Hello, I sent all the required documents needed for the admission, but I'm confused if we need to send our TEAS score to the SON. On the Transfer website, the deadline to send the proof of the score is May 1st, but I didn't receive my acceptance mail till May 10th. Furthermore, it doesn't appear on the required documents checklists. Should I still send the score to the SON?

Hello! I was in the waiting list for the Nursing I just received an email from the SON that I got admitted! However, I'm kind of confused by this: "You have been admitted to the SDSU fall 2019 semester to the pre-major indicated above" the pre-major was written " Nursing Premajor" Does anyone know what this mean? Is it like CSULB that I have to compete again to get into the major?

OMG that should have been really frustrating... I hope the school take more responsibility for their mistakes.

So I applied to this school twice and I failed at the communication exercise for the first time (I asked the school how I failed, and they said they didn't know, and that I have to ask the professor who was in charge of the communication exercise), and I didn't even get communication exercise opportunity for the second time although I submitted the application with the same information from the last time. My score was around 9.6 and from what I heard in the info session (I am currently attending this school), they give out communication exercise opportunity based on the score. BUT from what I saw these days, that is not true. that is why I think something is wrong with the school.

oh yeah I did apply different nursing schools because I knew something is wrong with this school. I am waiting for the response right now. Sorry for late response!
