CSULB BSN Spring 2019

Hello everyone, I was unable to find a thread with potential CSULB Spring transfers so I decided to start one. Hopefully, everyone is just as excited as I am :) I haven't taken the TEAS yet and I am currently wrapping up Micro. I plan on taking TEAS The end of may or early June and if I am unsatisfied with my results I will retake them in July. I would love to hear from other applicants! Good luck!!

When does spring semester start? Is there a mandatory meeting we need to attend prior to the semester starting or anything like that?

Spring semester starts January 22nd, and yes, orientation is mandatory. We will have to attend one for the SON and one for the college called SOAR. The SON orientation date should be on the email they send....

I received the email from the school, not the SON. But it's a start. Hopefully SON won't lag too far behind. Although it says to turn in transcripts by October 28th.. which has already passed...??

I still haven't received anything. I hope SON sends today, I don't want to have to wait for the entire weekend!

Just received the acceptance email from CSULB today, but nothing from the SON yet.

I was reading past forum and it says that if you are admitted to the university, and you get that email, that you are into the program, because the school holds your application until the SON gives them a list of who got in. I'm not 100% sure but sounds promising.

So I got my official emailing (from admissions) so that I am wait listed for real this time. Kind of bummed out but still hopeful. It's strange because either I calculated my GPA incorrectly which I don't think I did as I plugged them into a school calculator or I really did fail the interview? I find that hard to believe that I just flat out failed...I mean the people in my group told me I did really well too...(Maybe they were just being nice about it). I know many ofyou are accepted already but is there anyone that got waistlisted or flat out denied? Also, do we get our point total through them or could we call them about it...

I also got an e-mail from the school about being waitlisted. I'm planning on calling once we get notification from the SON about what the cut off is, because it seems like it jumped a lot from last spring to this one.
