CSULB BSN Fall 2018

Hi all! I wanted to start a thread for folks who are applying to CSULB starting Fall 2018. I would love to hear other applicants!

Basic, Trimester, and Accelerated Program

So I was reading the link posted above, and it explains that 30 of the 70 students get accepted into the semester program, which I believe is funded by the school. It also states that the other 40 spots are funded by long beach memorial. So I think those of you who are still waiting to hear something still have a chance, considering that there were some people who unfortunately recieved a wait list email, or a rejection email. Maybe they're just working out the funding. Although it sucks, I don't think the SON can definitively accept the other students until funding has been approved for the 40 slots of the trimester program.

Also it has info for the person who asked about admission minimums. Lol. Hope this helps. I think soon it'll all get worked out.

My mom works for the CSU system and I Can confirm funding is definitely the issue, all the CSUs are waiting to see how much money they are going to get for funding for the next fall and they're taking forever to tell the CSUs.

Does anybody know if the deadline for the waitlist items (April 20th) meant everything needed to be processed or everything needed to reach the school by that date? My application status page keeps showing my transcripts are not in, but I rushed ordered them April 9th. I have called and emailed, and cannot get any answers. I have not received a waitlist confirmation offer email from the SON either. Could someone help me out?

I'm one of the people who received admission and I ordered my transcripts immediately upon getting that e-mail on april 5th. And it's still showing on my "to do" list on my student center that I need to turn in official transcripts. I wouldn't trip about it.

Same, I rushed mine out immediately and it's still showing on my "to do" list. I think it just takes time to process.

Does anyone know what the schedule is going to be like? From what I've heard its classes 2 days out of the week and clinicals for 1?

At the Preview Day some of the nursing students said exactly that. Class two days a week and a day of clinicals. Didn't get too much info outside of that tho.

I'm in as well but I'm still waitlisted to the school...does that mean I'm in now?

I'm confused... I got an email saying that I have been selected to enter semester/trimester BSN program at CSULB, but I was initially waitlisted. Does that I mean I got off the waitlisted and am accepted?!?
