I realize it may be early, but I wanted to start a thread for the CSULA Fall 2016 nursing program hopefuls. I'm sure we will all have a lot of questions, especially because of the upcoming semester conversion. I have plenty of questions about application deadlines, volunteer hours, TEAS, etc. It will be nice to have a community where we can ask each other questions and offer advice. Eventually we can share stats, and we may even end up in the same cohort!
Hi jackie06! We have a FB page for the CSULA Nursing c/o 2019! If you're sure that you're going to CSULA for fall 2016, request to join the group and make friends with the rest of us! Can't wait to meet you in the orientation! Log into Facebook | Facebook
So, I'm pretty sure we have clinicals first semester!
This is the description of our Nursing Fundamentals Lab -
"65 hours of simulated/practical laboratory and 70 hours of clinical experience caring for adults and older adults with electrolyte and endocrine disorders applying nursing fundamental theoretical concepts of professional nursing practice and therapeutic communication."

I don't know. Monica personally told me clinicals don't start until Spring for the semester conversion.

I think, if I'm not wrong, you need NTRS 250 before CLINICALS (spring semester)
