I posted this in the California forum, but I think it got lost so I'm posting it here!
Who here is applying for the CSULA nursing program for Fall 2014? What are your stats? Have you taken the TEAS exam yet? I'm excited!
I have not taken the TEAS yet, but have my date scheduled for Oct. 25th.
Yeah transcripts are due then. I emailed her she said I have to email her the day I order them to let her know
Well, I don't think that they would eliminate anyone because they were waiting on grades to be released. That's out of your control and easily verifiable. And, If they did try that with you, I would argue that the form says that the courses only have to be "completed by June 21st." not completed with transcripts turned in.
I just checked and my psych grade was just posted. I got an A despite all the crazy drama with the class….lol
Our professor quit 2 weeks before the end of the semester. (personal reasons)
Another substitute came in and completely changed the dynamic of the course and gave us an exam and final that were never covered in the lectures...
anyway… I am getting the transcript tomorrow and dropping off at the nursing office.
Yeah, it says they are due on June 21st. I do not think anyone would get denied either because everyone has different semester ending days lol. I've been having a rough time with all this, I didn't want one more thing trying to stand in my way. I still don't know if I'm actually going to be accepted yet or not.
The course needs to be COMPLETED by 6/21.Relax Jenn. Like Goalkeeper said, Official Transcripts from every school attended are due by July 15. You can see it on the admissions deadline page
I was going off the nursing application. Transcripts for the school aren't due until July I know that. It does not matter anyways. I've officially been denied and even Mdawg is mad cuz they wouldn't even help her out about it.
Good luck guys!!
I went down and turned in my updated scripts to the SON and Admissions offices yesterday.
I know I can mail them, but it feels safer to hand them in myself. I barely made it by 5 because my dog got hit by a car yesterday, and I was running around taking care of that all day.
The admissions office was actually closed. But I got the girl inside to open the door and take my script...lol
As for the dog, he must be part cat because he's got some extra lives ...lol
He was hit broadside, about at the elbows, the worst spot for breaking shoulders/ribs/hips, and came out without a scratch!!!
Doc x-rayed him and showed NO damage/internal bleeding. Just some soft tissue bruising of the lungs from impacting. the doctor kept laughing and saying, "Dogs don't usually look like this after being hit by a car". He was wandering around the office, sniffing and happy.
Funny thing, I picked him up and he had his front paw bandaged, not from the car hitting him, but because he had something stuck in his paw that had to be removed. I guess a while back he stepped on a palm prawn and a piece got stuck between the pad grooves.
It was healing over like a cyst that was slightly infected...
The doc came out and said, "he's fine, he's already growling at me"
I took him home - after big moriphine and tramadol dosages, and he was still trying to run around. He busted past me into the backyard and almost snatched a cat off our 8' wall...lol
This dog is NUTS!!
Good thing he got hit by a car, or his paw could have become much more infected....lol
I've given him a new nickname, "Speed-Bump"
