Csula Fall 2014 applicants..

I posted this in the California forum, but I think it got lost so I'm posting it here!

Who here is applying for the CSULA nursing program for Fall 2014? What are your stats? Have you taken the TEAS exam yet? I'm excited!

I have not taken the TEAS yet, but have my date scheduled for Oct. 25th.

I say recheck your email and make your spam filter but I would not be worried. It is the orientation for the school not the nursing program

Oh.. ya, I got it…

I lost my phone the other day, and waiting for a new one. It's hard to keep up with my emails when I don't have a notification every time an account receives one…lol

$70 ?!?!?!

Why the H#LL would I spend that kind of money for an orientation?!?! How can they even charge for that??? What is so special that you would pay $70?!?!

Does it come with a steak & lobster dinner??

It comes with the fact your registration date is the day of orientation instead of I think a few days before class starts. I am not worried anyways because there are enough seats for us I'll just have to make friends with everyone so I can get the clinical site that is more convenient for me but I am pretty competitive with being the 1st one if there is a sign up sheet involved in which people get up to go sign lol

so you get priority registration if you go to orientation and pay $70?

Is this where you select your clinical site also? I don't understand...

Regular orientation is mandatory for freshmen and optional for transfer students. If u pay the $70 and go you get priority registration. Since we are in a program it doesn't matter if we do or don't get priority because we are all going to get the classes we need.we are going to have our own orientation the day before class starts and this will be where we pick our clinical sites and stuff

So… I found the answer to my own previous question. Wish I would have looked this up 3 years ago when I started back in college… Grades are due within 5 business days … I would have raised some hell if I knew this in my prior semesters… Like I said, I have waited MONTHS !! :facepalm:

SO annoying… My Micro professor still has not posted grades, yet she started teaching her summer biology course today… WtH?!?! :banghead:

One of my teachers from west la still hasn't posted my grades and they're due tomorrow. Summer session started today. I want to send my transcripts already!!! I am about to take my stats final in half an hour at smc and I bet my grades will be up tonight

I just realized the grades for stats and micro are due on the 21st and grades for my school aren't due until the 23rd!!!!!!!!

The courses just have to be COMPLETED by the 21st. That's not when transcripts are due…

Yeah transcripts are due then. I emailed her she said I have to email her the day I order them to let her know
