Csula Fall 2014 applicants..

Published

I posted this in the California forum, but I think it got lost so I'm posting it here!

Who here is applying for the CSULA nursing program for Fall 2014? What are your stats? Have you taken the TEAS exam yet? I'm excited!

I have not taken the TEAS yet, but have my date scheduled for Oct. 25th.

There is a good chance I will not get in and there's a good chance I'll be wait listed before I did get accepted... I only have 22 pts so I'm sure I'll fall into the category with a lot of other applicants with the same stats... I wonder how they settle ties

They probably let them all loose in a concrete pit where they battle to the death in a gladiator-type event...

THere will be a lot of top applicants that get accepted to multiple schools. If I had the money to relocate for school, CSULA would be my LAST LAST LAST choice. Hopefully for you and others with that a level score, most of the higher ranked people choose other schools.

I'm broke, so CSULA is all I the choice I have at the moment...lol

I hope that is the case. Csula is the only school I applied to this time around. I hope all the top people choose LB lol

Lurkers will pop up in the end. This year it's super silent for whatever reason.

@jenn: yeah and LB accepts a lot more applicants than LA.

Well maybe that means less people are applying!!! I can't imagine applying to a nursing program without seeing if I could find any background on applicants, etc.... That's how I came across allnurses

This is for CSULB. But I thought it was interesting enough, others might want to see... They just sent it to me. Crazy how they only had 88 applicants in spring 2013...

Whoa I could totally have a chance at lb.... Look at those low end scores!!!!!

Ya, it was much lower than I expected. I have one issue with Applying to LB though. You can only have 1 prerequisite in process as of feb 1 2014. I will have only one in progress as of feb 6 2014. My winter statistics class ends on the 6th.

I wonder if I can call them and see if that 6 days will really disqualify my application. Even if the application is in on time, and I submit my grade asap.

Only 88 applicants because NO TRANSFER. Well then...

The fall stats are pretty high for 2013.

Yeah, I heard that there's a buttload of people who apply for Fall, but not so many apply for Spring.
