Csula Fall 2014 applicants..

I posted this in the California forum, but I think it got lost so I'm posting it here!

Who here is applying for the CSULA nursing program for Fall 2014? What are your stats? Have you taken the TEAS exam yet? I'm excited!

I have not taken the TEAS yet, but have my date scheduled for Oct. 25th.

It just says to get them done before june something. You should call them up about it though. They're pretty good with answering phone calls unlike the other nursing programs out there.

Which semester are you taking the two classes?

I already took stats. Just taking Micro in the spring… I"ll just see what happens. No real point in calling…… doesn't matter at this point… I'll just keep waiting… and waiting… and...

Turned in my updated transcript today.. Does anyone know what the nursing school schedule is like? What days/hours? 5 days/week or 4 days/week?

I think it's two or three days a week. That's what I've been led to believe by nursing student youtubers and the like... I will be turning in my updated transcript soon! As soon as my socio teacher posts my grade and it pops up on my transcripts so CSULA can have my in progress classes as well.

I got denied to CSULB lol. I applied to take the Chem class I needed for the nursing program over there and so I could also be a CSULB student when applying to their nursing program, but I was missing a chem class for the major I chose. Oh well. :p

It seems that each class occur once a week mostly Mon-Thurs. Some classes are longer than others....for instance clinical takes 12 hrs or less and lectures around 1-3hrs.

So I will be turning in the last of my paperwork for the application. I'm turning in my transcripts that include my physio grade.. I also took socio during the winter and even tho it's not a pre req I want it to count in my cumulative. I rushed ordered them cuz the final ranking process is march 10th and I don't want to be cut even tho it's not due until the 27th

So, I have been trolling the site... CSULA sent out interview invites for the ELMSN program this past weekend. Makes me think they are just now getting to our applications... Hopefully we will hear something in the next couple weeks (the anxiety is killing me...lol)

Woohoo.. We are so close. I doubt they'll do anything before the deadlines though, so the earliest couldn't be before march 25th or whenever the deadline to turn in the last of paperwork is

Woohoo got an email today from ----------... It was a reminder to apply for fin aid but atleast I know I'm still in the running!!! Lol
