Csula Fall 2014 applicants..

Published

I posted this in the California forum, but I think it got lost so I'm posting it here!

Who here is applying for the CSULA nursing program for Fall 2014? What are your stats? Have you taken the TEAS exam yet? I'm excited!

I have not taken the TEAS yet, but have my date scheduled for Oct. 25th.

You just have to turn in spring grades as soon as they are posted. They will probably let you slide by a few day. I know CSULB was cool woth me turning in grades after the due dates.. They know you have no control over it. As long as you complete the course in the spring semester and turn in grades asap. They know every school's schedules are forward or back from each other by a week or so...

Yeah it's the same with mine. I doubt if you get accepted but grades are due before you're done with class that they will drop you from the program

thank you guys. and good luck to everyone :) :)

I'm so anxious already, and it's not even April yet! From past threads, it looks like the lowest points accepted was 22 points and I'm just hoping my application built up enough points.

I have 22 points so i'm on the border

Does anyone know how many applied this time? Or has anyone talked to anyone from Nursing admissions?

This thread seems pretty quiet compared to past years.

I have 27 points... Unless they calculate default 'C' into my gpa for my in progress course (the reason why i didn't get into csulb this year :( )

I hope they don't do that since I will have two Cs... Micro and stats calculated into my grade. On the csulb app it states that they do that... Nowhere have I read for la that they do it. Fingers crossed.

Im taking micro now :(

Killed my chance of going to my dream school.....

You're correct that LB clearly states it will, and LA doesn't mention it...

.

But maybe they don't mention it to minimize gang threat to the faculty...

It is LA, after all...lol

LOL i do not think that is the case. I just don't think that they factor those grades in at all unless you've completed them. LA and LB have a completely different points system.

!!! UPDATE !!!

Just found out my friend got a rejection letter almost a week ago... I don't know her points, but i know she got about an 79% overall on her teas, and B in micro. I think A maybe B in physio.

Now i'm thinking, the fact we havent heard anything, is probably a really, really good sign....

From csula????? Anyone else know anyone that's gotten rejection letters? I'm freaking out a little... You need to ask her how many points she had... They haven't even commenced the final ranking yet!!!!!

I thought rejection letters came way after acceptance letters
