I posted this in the California forum, but I think it got lost so I'm posting it here!
Who here is applying for the CSULA nursing program for Fall 2014? What are your stats? Have you taken the TEAS exam yet? I'm excited!
I have not taken the TEAS yet, but have my date scheduled for Oct. 25th.
This is what CSULA said:"The prerequisite GPA is computed using the following six prerequisite courses: Chemistry 151*, Biology 200A & 200B*; English 101*, Oral Communication 150*, and a *General Education Critical Thinking Course, or the equivalent courses taken elsewhere."
So those ^ are the only ones taken into account. Stats and micro are not included
Did someone really receive a rejection letter already? They said that rejection letters come later, after acceptances have been sent out.
Ahh, if I calculated correctly, I should have 23 or 24 points. 23 since my overall GPA was 3.6 when I turned in the application. 24 if they realize that my GPA went up to a 3.7 when I sent my Fall 2013 transcripts.
Yes my friend got the letter... She's real upset about it, so im not gonna ask her her score anytime soon... She didn't even tell me until i tild her that i didnt get into Long Beach (stupid in-progress, default C!!! still ****** about that)[/quote']We need to know over here!!!!!!!!!! Lol
Now that I've recalcuated... my scores suck!
I got a B in that stupid philosophy critical thinking class and it brought my pre req GPA down loowww
Cum- 3.70 - 5 pts
Pre req- 3.45- 6 pts
English 90%- 5 pts
Reading 81%- 4 pts (I really hope I'm looking at the right scores on these)
>100 hrs volunteer exp. - 2 pts
TOTAL 22 pts
