Hey! I wanted to start a forum for CSULA fall 2018. I have been looking everywhere for one! Anyways, just wanted to talk to others about their apps and such. This is kind of a nerve wracking experience, and I wanted to compare points/progress on the application. I tallied my points and I have 25. I hope it gets me in. Fingers crossed. I have also applied to a bunch of other schools, but CSULA is the dream :)

I haven't heard anything, I'm getting impatient because apparently they were supposed to come out the first week of April...

So I received an email on March 17 saying I got into the Nursing Program but I just called the SON and the lady said she has not sent any acceptance letters yet...so that means I did not get into the program yet??

does anyone know if they drug test before going into the program?

Probably not right away but for sure before clinicals start

If they do an orientation before classes start then they will probably do the drug test then but there will definetly be a drug test because the hospitals require it to do clinicals

I just came from Cal State LA Preview Day. I know it has already been posted, but if you received the Congratulations! letter, stating you having been admitted into the Nursing Program, then you have been accepted. The SON is currently sending out their denial letters, and then will send the "official" acceptance letters. They had 1,400 applicants this year, when they usually have 500-600.

I saw the Skills Lab, and it is awesome. Newly upgraded and very high tech.
