CSULA BSN Program Fall 2018

Hey! I wanted to start a forum for CSULA fall 2018. I have been looking everywhere for one! Anyways, just wanted to talk to others about their apps and such. This is kind of a nerve wracking experience, and I wanted to compare points/progress on the application. I tallied my points and I have 25. I hope it gets me in. Fingers crossed. I have also applied to a bunch of other schools, but CSULA is the dream :)

Sigh, I didnt get into the university. Bummer. I had 26 points for the nursing program :/

how did you find out? have you recieved an email from SON?

Sorry to hear that some people haven't recieved any emails... are you guys currently csula students?

i heard that none of csula students got their emails yet. Most transfers supposedly got their admission letters at this point. If you guys are transfers, it is best to call the admissions office and find out.

Hello mdv2702, I am a current CSULA student and yup I have not received news just yet. My registration date is 4/14 and I am thinking that I should hear back soon because I am assuming schedules are first come first serve on accepted applicants.

I got an admissions email because im a transfer student, however i dont have any registration dates or enrollment dates yet. Hopefully, we get the emails from SON before the 14th so you wont have a problem. I heard that the latest date they'll be sending out letters will be the 3rd week, let's hope it comes in before that.

i received a letter from admissions. Apparently I didn't list my algebra course when I did. zzz. I have to send out an appeal. If you dont get an admissions nursing wont even look at your application according to the admissions person.

Sorry I forgot to quote you. But I got this email from admissions. If you get rejected by admissions apparently nursing wont even look at your app. THey said I didn't list my college algebra course but i did :( Idk. I have to send an appeal to prove that I did.

Admissions to SON will be sent out beginning tomorrow in waves that end in the next week.

You definitely deserve to get admitted if you put in everything correctly. Maybe there's a system error or something. Thats very unfortunate and stressful, i hope everything turns out well.

Yeah it sucks. Now they say it has something to do with my TEAS score and theres a problem to it. I don't understand. But I have proof of me sending them out in email. So at this point I'm just??????? cause apparently their decisions are already made and I can't appeal for anything. What's done is done. RIP.
