CSULA BSN Program Fall 2018

Published

Hey! I wanted to start a forum for CSULA fall 2018. I have been looking everywhere for one! Anyways, just wanted to talk to others about their apps and such. This is kind of a nerve wracking experience, and I wanted to compare points/progress on the application. I tallied my points and I have 25. I hope it gets me in. Fingers crossed. I have also applied to a bunch of other schools, but CSULA is the dream :)

Hiii,

thats a pretty good score! i read the previous threads, most of the people who scored 25 and up got in. is it your first time applying?

I did see that but I guess I am still really worried because even though I have work experience it is not for a long time. I don't know if that matters. Yes it is my first time!

Are you applying?

yes i applied too. i just submitted my application last night. crossing my fingers to get in as well. csula is my first choice. i dont think theres a minimum required for work experience. is your experience more than 100 hours?

I do have more than a 100!

And I hope you get in!!! í ½í¹‚ is it your first time too?

yeah i guess that'll work, specially if you have a license. I only have a volunteer experience, 104 hours to be exact LOL. barely made >100. I hope they give me 2 points still. Yes it's my first time too. I tried to apply last year but didnt get to submit my application to nursing cas. have you submitted yours?

I am pretty sure you'll get in with those points👍

Finally a forum! I've been waiting for a CSULA one. I have 24 pts tallied. A little nervous but I think I've got what it takes! lol

I'm a bit busy with work and finals but this upcoming week i should finalize my nursing cas.

I too have 25 points! CSULA is not my first choice though as I am situated in Northern California.

Hi,

I am from northern california too, but i now stay in Socal. I tried to see if I can apply at csu sac, but unfortunately they dont accept the classes i took from pasadena city colleege according to assist.org. So i didnt get to apply í ½í¸ž anyways, you got a really good score! I hope you get in as well!

Thank you for the kind words! I hope you get in as well!

Sac has amazing pass rates. It's definitely in my top last of schools that I hope to get in. If I may ask, why did you want to apply to Sac?

Do you think Sac graduates have better opportunities than other schools for their students? Are they well rebound, and also, do they gave good hospitals in that area?

Yes! I already applied to the SON. I was surprised how easy it was... I was skeptical. Haha but I sent it :)

Thank you for the kind words! I hope you get in as well!

Yes csu sac has amazing pass rates and it's actually the best nursing school in norcal. Very competitive. Plus its an amazing city to stay, not as busy as LA. Im not really sure where they have their clinicals tho.
