CSULA BSN Program Fall 2018

Hey! I wanted to start a forum for CSULA fall 2018. I have been looking everywhere for one! Anyways, just wanted to talk to others about their apps and such. This is kind of a nerve wracking experience, and I wanted to compare points/progress on the application. I tallied my points and I have 25. I hope it gets me in. Fingers crossed. I have also applied to a bunch of other schools, but CSULA is the dream :)

Hey guys ! I'm glad i was finally able to find a forum!! I'll also be applying to the nursing program for fall 2018!! Fingers crossed because i know how competitive it can be

The application for fall 2018 is already open correct?

How are you guys figuring out points? Where can I find the document?

What can I use to figure out how many points I have? Thank you.

I believe on the CSULA SON page under the tab that says FAQ. I think.

Hi everyone!

I have a question... I was told that we had to mail our official transcript, our letter (volunteer hours), and our TEAS test score to NursigCAS. How does that work? I am not in California at the moment so all of my documents would have to be shipped separately...

It's only your official transcripts and you can do it online

So I ended up adding my points! If I did it correctly, I think I would receive 25 points. Good luck everyone!

Hello again!

Anyone have AP credit? If so, do you know what the process of uploading AP scores is? When I log on to CollegeBoard it doesn't give me the option to download a PDF version of my scores; they are just listed on my profile. It has the option to send the scores to a university, but CSULA already has those. I called NursingCAS and they told me that because it's not one of their requirements I should call the SoN, but their number isn't listed on the website.

Perla17,

Hey! I had this question too. I have AP Stats credit. CSULA says to attach "an official copy" of your AP scores under "other", but The College Board only sends official scores to schools, which like you said, you already did. I even reached out The College Board and asked if they could send me an official copy to my house so that I could scan it and upload it, but they just directed me to send it to colleges. If I had to guess, maybe they don't do that?

Anyways, instead I just downloaded the PDF version of my scores and uploaded that onto NursingCAS. Hopefully that's right... Maybe we should call CSULA and ask if that's sufficient.
