CSULA 2015 ABSN Program

Hi all,

I saw the thread for the BSN Basic program, and wanted to start this one. I'm taking the TEAS on 12/20 for the first time (eek!) because I had to take the GREs for my other apps. I saw that the BSN Basic program has a point system. Does the ABSN program have that too? And do we need to sent in verification of volunteer hours too?

Just as an update for you all, I received my interview invite via email yesterday. The dates offered are this week and next week (surprisingly so early)! You all will probably hear back soon! Good luck everyone!! :)

@jackbandit May I ask what letter does your last name start with?

But I got an email back from the director and she said they're still in the midst of reviewing the applications and will contact us for any missing documents.

Last name starts with P. I'm out of state, so I might have gotten priority scheduling an interview first since I have to make arrangements.

No problem!

My last name starts with a C. My stats are pretty similar to @jackbandit's:

Undergrad GPA: 3.5

Prereq GPA: 4.0 (but actually I had one A-.. so it might not be 4.0 after all?)

TEAS: not sure about individual parts, but 99th percentile overall

App submission date: 1/9? 1/12?

Don't give up yet! It's still early. Someone from one of previous years got an interview invite on March 3rd and got in! View this as an opportunity to practice patience :)

Is there a place where we can check the status of our application? Since I never received notification of the receipt of my application, I don't know if there's a way to keep myself updated on the status of it online.

You would probably have to e-mail CSULA and ask them if they received it. I asked them if they received my additional documents and they responded within a few days.
