Hi all,
I saw the thread for the BSN Basic program, and wanted to start this one. I'm taking the TEAS on 12/20 for the first time (eek!) because I had to take the GREs for my other apps. I saw that the BSN Basic program has a point system. Does the ABSN program have that too? And do we need to sent in verification of volunteer hours too?

Hi! I'm glad you posted this because I was already confused! I didn't pay enough attention to the other thread title and thought it was about the ABSN program. The ABSN doesn't have a point system and doesn't need a verification for the volunteer hours (as far as I know, and I've been to their site so many times by now)
What other programs are you applying to? I kind of wish I had looked at the BSN-Basic program now. I see that they also admit people who would be seeking their second bachelor's degree.
Good luck on the TEAS! I am taking it that day, too.
What program am I NOT applying to should be the question.. Haha.
Well I applied to all the entry masters ones in CA and the 3 in Boston that are offering the 3 year NP programs.
My absolute first choice is CSULA though. I JUST started studying for the teas today with the ATI book. Have long have you been studying? I would PM you but my messsages aren't activated yet supposedly

Hey guys! I'm also applying for the ABSN, but haven't taken the TEAS yet. Should I buy the ATI book, or just look for practice test questions online?
@snailszy Good luck! That’s pretty exciting/stressful – you could be here or in Boston at the end of next year, and it’s all up to some perfect strangers in admissions offices.
I don’t if you or @irahm16 already bought them, but I purchased the ATI test manual and the McGraw-Hill 5 Practice TEAS exam books. For the math portion, I watched almost all of the Keshwani series of videos on YouTube. I definitely picked up some valuable help there.
Thank you guys! Was everything on the test covered in the ATI book?

Hey everyone. I'm trying to apply for the ABSN program too but can't find what address to send my application and paperwork to. Help!!! Also my LORs are going to be sent separately. Where do the recommenders send them? Do they have to include anything in the letter so that it's properly matched to my application? Thank you!!

Hey Everyone, I'm looking into the ABSN as well. I emailed the program about my statistics class. I took Statistical Methods in Behavioral Sciences at Irvine Valley College (Psyc 10) which I'm wondering if it will qualify for the Inferential Stats requirement. It's the holidays so unsure how soon I'll hear back. If anyone had a similar issue or knows anything about this please let me know. Assist.org is unable to help with this one.
Unfortunately the school is on vacay until the 5th of Jan. The program coordinator wouldn't go over my pre-reqs with me through email and just told me to submit it and if it doesn't qualify I would just need to take another class. There are limited appointments you can make for her to go over the pre-reqs with you through the phone or in person once school starts again!
I actually just answered my question.
