CSUF EL-MSN 2011

Hi!

I'm about to turn in my application for Cal State Fullerton's EL-MSN 2011 program in person tomorrow (I know...what a procrastinator!). I'm just wondering, are there any CSUF applicants out there? If you turned your application in already, have you heard from the school yet?

ames3 I am glad you asked. I completely forgot, so focused on getting through the interview ;)

I need to take up knitting or something...::sigh::

So what was the interview like? Was it one person at a time? Did they do all the interviews on one day? I'm planning to apply next year if I don't get into Concordia this fall. Hope you guys hear good news!

Hey princesspea - I see you on the LB board. Which school is your first choice? I didn't feel that great after the interview. I got really nervous and just kept babbling. I applied to Fullerton just for the heck of it but I left really liking the school and staff.

Hey SandyMickey! They asked my group not to speak of the interviews to anyone to keep the integrity of the program.

There are a list of interview questions on these boards (search interview questions on this site) that will help you prep for the interview. Practice your answers to these and you will do just fine. :) However, they did say they were trying out a new interview process this time so i dont know how much will stay the same as this year.

Is anyone scheduled the 29th for an interview?

I didn't realize the interviews were going so late. Makes sense now as to why they are accepting the schools app at the end of the month.

I think they have 3 Fridays of interviews.

Here are some information that was conveyed to our interview group today:

- Three sets of interviews with next week's being the last.

- Almost 200 applied for the program

- 60 received invitations for interviews

- 48 RSVP'ed for interviews

- 33 will be offered admissions

Decisions will be made about a week after next week's interview.
