CSUF EL-MSN 2011

Published

Hi!

I'm about to turn in my application for Cal State Fullerton's EL-MSN 2011 program in person tomorrow (I know...what a procrastinator!). I'm just wondering, are there any CSUF applicants out there? If you turned your application in already, have you heard from the school yet?

I have yet to try but I will this evening when I get home. Keep me posted!

Nevermind, it started working all of the sudden.

hi everyone, for those of you that got an interview, if you don't mind, can you share your stats? gpa, prereq gpa, teas score, etc. i got a rejection email today so I'm just wondering what I can do to become a competitive candidate.

Hey Psych_to_Nurse did you fill out the Statement of Purpose? Long Beach asked us to leave it blank but wondering if you had asked Fullerton.

Thanks!

Hmm I wasn't invited to interview but I didn't get a rejection email... anyone else in the same boat?

I would like to know peoples TEAS scores and GPAs ect. That were invited to interview. I am planning on applying next year.

Yes, I actually emailed them the other day. They said we DO need to complete the statement of purpose.

BA GPA: 3.4

Pre-req science GPA: 3.5

TEAS: 87%

Volunteer w/ direct patient care: 300 hours

Hope that helps!

The SON website lists their point system in great detail. I think it just depends on the group of applicants for that year. I would look at their point system and see where you can max as much point as possible (ie. volunteer hours, TEAS score, etc). Some things you can't do anything about, such as where you live and if you attended CSUF for undergrad.

I received an interview email last Friday for April 15th. I RSVP'd the same day and got an immediate email confirmation back. Then Monday morning I received a recall email and my heart jumped to my throat. A couple of hours later, I got another email stating a room change from Friday's email. Did anyone get the same emails?

Thank you! I gotta get that hammered out then. Hoping it will not greatly affect our admissions.

I got these emails as well. I felt sick to my stomach but got clarification back saying the room change. Glad it was that and not something else :)
