CSUF ABSN Fall 2021

Hi all! 
I just wanted to create this forum for students who are applying to CSUF Fall 2021 for the ABSN program in case we had questions for each other, wanted to share thoughts, stats and to support each other through this journey. 
 

How many of you plan to work if accepted? Per diem, part time, full time?

I plan to work at least part time

Im crying right now. I feel so heartbroken. I just got an email that I was denied. It said I did not submit my AP scores. I don't understand this though, because my AP scores were not relevant to the pre requisites needed to apply. Does anyone have an idea why they would still need the scores?

This is the same for me. I am not using my AP score as part of the pre-requisites. Maybe ill email them about this. So sad.

I got that same e-mail so confused. I'm not sure why they need them if they are not the pre-req's. I was denied because of missing AP scores. Did we have to upload our high school transcripts with AP scores?

 

So confused and surprised.

hi guys, I have no idea what's going on with your applications ? I just got an email saying that they are finished checking all other parts of my application and that they are not starting to review my cumulative GPA. maybe you can try emailing them since AP scores aren't a requirement.

Yeah I was also denied because I didn’t submit my AP scores. Very upsetting.

Interesting. Their website does say that it requires AP scores and doesn't specify prerequisites only, but I can't see why anyone should be getting denied for AP scores if they have nothing to do with prerequisites for the program!

Keep me updated with how it goes.. I really hope they can get it worked out for all of you!!

So I saw this and it says if the AP score is applicable then we send them. So I didn't need it, that's why I didn't send it. Correct?

Mine says the same ! May I ask what your gpas were ?
