CSUF ABSN Fall 2021

Hi all! 
I just wanted to create this forum for students who are applying to CSUF Fall 2021 for the ABSN program in case we had questions for each other, wanted to share thoughts, stats and to support each other through this journey.

I’ll be applying this coming Winter (of 2021) - was wondering if all you got your CNA certification. I know it’s not required so debating if I should do it.

Hello, 

I just found this group. I also applied to the ABSN fall 2021 cohort. I have not heard anything from the program. I did get confirmation that my transcripts have been received by admissions, but they are still not loaded on my student portal.

Hi Yulinurse, 

would you know the path to view our transcripts on the student portal? I also received confirmation from admissions but haven’t been able to find where to view transcripts received. Good luck! Hope we hear back soon.

Based on the 2020 forum, it looks like late February or early March

Hi Veronica, 

I clicked on the academic advising student tab and was able to be connected with a general ED advisor. Unfortunately they were not able to locate my transcript details, she mentioned that even though the admissions office verified receipt that they wouldn't show up on my student portal until a student is accepted into the program. So we just have to wait. She mentioned to just give it time and if I didn't hear anything to contact [email protected]

Oh that's good to know...any idea when we are noticed if we are gunna get one??

I believe we will be notified around March-April by email and interviews around that time too
