Hi all!
I just wanted to create this forum for students who are applying to CSUF Fall 2021 for the ABSN program in case we had questions for each other, wanted to share thoughts, stats and to support each other through this journey.

Search for "CSUF ABSN Fall 2020 Cohort" and I will get you added.
I work tonight so I probably won't add people until 8am tomorrow!
I figure we can start with facebook, and maybe make a Discord in the future!
Wait....LOL we're the fall 2021 cohort!

I haven’t started it yet. Once you start are you allowed to return to it later. I wanted to email the SON the questions you had but I want to make sure I am asking them correctly. 1- is regarding the degree we are Pursuing 2- RN to BSN or unaffiliated &3. Expected graduation date. Please let me know if these are the 3 questions that were on the background check. Thanks
Here’s what they told me:
“Yes unaffiliated is perfectly fine, thank you for checking in. You can leave the date blank, if it slows, as well as license number, yes.”

Nope, I've been hoarding money & living with my parents. Most ABSN info sessions I attended, including CSUF, said they don't recommend it but it obviously depends on your situation.

I am. I asked if anyone did from the last cohort but no answer yet! Hoping to juggle it.
2 12s a week, I can't go per diem until 6 months in which would be the end of September.

I feel like that’s the general answer I get that it’s not recommended, but I might have to! Someone from last year’s cohort mentioned that the first semester was really intense, so that also makes me feel like it may not be possible, especially in the first semester.

I asked too, but I haven’t gotten a response yet. They probably don’t really check it anymore, but I hope someone gets back to you! ?
