CSUF ABSN Fall 2021

Hi all! 
I just wanted to create this forum for students who are applying to CSUF Fall 2021 for the ABSN program in case we had questions for each other, wanted to share thoughts, stats and to support each other through this journey.

Hi all,

I haven’t started it yet. Once you start are you allowed to return to it later. I wanted to email the SON the questions you had but I want to make sure I am asking them correctly. 1- is regarding the degree we are Pursuing 2- RN to BSN or unaffiliated &3. Expected graduation date. Please let me know if these are the 3 questions that were on the background check. Thanks

Also ask about the second page where it asks for your license number for healthcare. I put my CNA license number in it. Hopefully that's correct.

Will do! Are the other questions above correct ? I haven’t physically seen the online form and I am going off of what was said in the prior comments. Kindly, let me know.

What you have is correct. Some things can probably be left blank like the graduation year if it's our anticipated graduation from the program date. Better to ask though. I just ran through the form and submitted it to get it processing. Should come back clean just like every other background check I've ever done.

I will let you know once they email me back. Thank you ? ! I am looking forward to working with you and our other classmates. Mine should come back clean as well!

License number refers to people to have a previous RN license. Such as ADN.

I just left it blank because it only made sense.

Congrats to everyone who got accepted! I did as well and will be accepting my offer! Can't wait to meet everyone ? Does anyone know if there's a FB page yet??

Not that I know of. Someone also mentioned maybe making a Discord server. Not sure how familiar others are with that, but it's similar to Slack. Available on desktop & mobile.

There's always Whatsapp as well. I'll join whatever.

I made a FB group!

Search for "CSUF ABSN Fall 2021 Cohort" and I will get you added.

I work tonight so I probably won't add people until 8am tomorrow!

I figure we can start with facebook, and maybe make a Discord in the future!

I don't really use FB much so if enough people are interested I could make a Discord. I'll try to find the FB group later today ?
