CSUF ABSN Fall 2021

Hi all! 
I just wanted to create this forum for students who are applying to CSUF Fall 2021 for the ABSN program in case we had questions for each other, wanted to share thoughts, stats and to support each other through this journey. 
 

Question. For the student information on the background check what did you guys put? A little confused. Would appreciate the help!

Hey girlie. Congrats. I’m doing my background check right now. Question what did you get put for student information on the first part?

Like do we put Bachelors of nursing or the bachelors we graduated with?

I assumed it was asking for pursuing since we already sent our official transcripts with the degrees we all currently have. The background check is associated with the code they gave us so it'll be sent to them no matter what. That drop-down option for student type only listed RN to BSN or unaffiliated so I selected unaffiliated. That makes sense right?

What did you put? I’m guessing it’s unaffiliated as well

That's gotta be it, or leave it blank ??‍♀️ I checked the directions sent to us and there were no specifications beyond the code & to be sure to pay.

I feel like I am overthinking this LOL. What did you all put for expected graduation date if it wasn’t specified also

It didn't make me fill that out to continue so I left it blank.

Ouch! I've been trying to adjust to working 12 hour nights so luckily this week was Spring break. Have one Inorgan/Organ/Bio Chem class left.

 

If someone creates a facebook page for this cohort (or Discord), let me know!

Hi all,

I got offered conditional admission as well. I’m going to do the background check tomorrow. Is it pretty straight forward or is it confusing? Looking forward to working with you all!
