CSUF ABSN Fall 2021

Hi all! 
I just wanted to create this forum for students who are applying to CSUF Fall 2021 for the ABSN program in case we had questions for each other, wanted to share thoughts, stats and to support each other through this journey.

800?! No wonder it took them longer for cumulative GPA calculations!

Did she mention how many were placed on the alternate list ?

I was placed on the alternate list as well. So far it looks like there’s 5 people total (including myself) that have been placed on there.

Sorry I don't know. I didn't ask her specifically. You can send -------------------------- an email regarding that. She replies quickly ?

I just emailed --------------------------- back telling her that I am declining my offer to CSUF since I decided to commit to another program. Just wanted to update for those who are on the alternate list!

Hi all,

my background check has also been completed and cleared. Has anyone heard anything from ------------------------ yet about the next steps?  Castlebranch automatically sends our results to the SON, correct? We do not need to send them a copy, correct?

Yeah it's all under their account code for review. I haven't heard anything else yet. Tempted to email & ask what's next.

Hi everyone,

How do you know if your background check is cleared? I checked on castlebranch and some areas show "cleared/completed" but others show "in process". Do they send you an email? Thanks!

Yes, they send you a "come look at the results" type email once the in-process parts have finished. On mine it took an extra day for the local in-process info to clear.
