Hello all,

I am surprised that there is not a single thread for east bay for fall 2016.

Anyway, I am just curious the statistics for admission and know some potential classmates form this site.

GPA:3.75

TEAS:90

have healthcare experience.

I want to send out my biggest congrats to all future nurses (including myself LOL), I am just curious for those who got in, anyone going to Hayward campus? We will be classmates... YAY!!!

Hi guys, it is me again.

I am wondering has anyone enrolled in any classes so far? I don't know which professors and time to pick? Any advice will be appreciated. :)

Hi Janice,

Are you talking about nursing classes, or some of the general ed requirements? Luckily for me, I've gotten all the GE classes out of the way, so will only be registering for nursing classes. We are supposed to wait until orientation to register for nursing classes. I've already looked at the schedule and have picked out the times I prefer, but I don't know if I will actually get to choose. :-) Yesterday I received email confirmation that I do not need to take Psych, Nutrition, or Sociology.

I checked my enrollment time, and it was at the beginning of June. I signed up for some classes (2) already because I thought I was so late to enroll classes at that moment (almost a heart attack). Those two classes were the ones I was sure (time & professor), but I was not sure about the other two classes due to I could not find any information about the those pofessors.

I also got emails about psych, nutrition, and sociology classes.

Janice you will be taking 2 classes on top of the 16 or so units we already have to take the first quarter?! I am pretty frustrated because they sent me an email saying I need to take nutrition still. I just took it this last spring semester at my previous school! I contacted them to figure out if that was based on my most recent transcripts or not. Didn't get a clear answer really but apparently not because they said they don't see nutrition in my transcripts at all :( so I went ahead and registered since you can't talk to your advisor about it and get it fixed until after fall starts, ugh! Also it turns out nutrition is only offered there in 2 online formats and 1 in person at hayward. I'm currently enrolled at concord so I need online but they are both waitlisted already. Hope everyone that needs it has already signed up! Anyone else having issues with this? I just feel as though I'm wasting a spot that should go to someone who actually needs it.

Hi Rayrayb,

I will be taking all the classes required for Fall except nutrition. I have taken introduction of nutrition back in 2014 summer in a CC, so I think it is based on all the classes you have taken. Maybe that is a different nutrition class school requires?
